We flew over from Ireland for a spa day as a part of a hen's party recently and had the most fantastic day. The staff could not do enough for us and the Beautician worked tirelessly all day facilitating 11 of us with treatments. We had tea and coffee on tap all day, juices, beautiful lunch with wine, the use of pool, steam room and sauna. It was absolutely fantastic value and would love to go back again!!
Affable staff, dinner and breakfast very nice. Dinner deal when booking isn't actually a deal..... Same price when in the restaurant. Hotel itself is slightly run down, ceiling tiles missing and bathroom a bit grubby but overall ok. Wouldn't of been happy if I had to pay full price.... But at £75 for a double not bad

Food is always fantastic. Great menu. Attentive, friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere.
Was very impressed with the quality of the food and the speed with which it was delivered. The staff were friendly and attentive despite being very busy. The proprietor James was especially friendly, courteous and extremely witty. We will be returning very shortly when I am sure we will have an equally entertaining evening with fine food and wines

Under new management since February 2016 The place was very busy when we arrived and our table was for 8:30. The meal was cooked lovely. Also the pub is no longer an Andwells pub so does serve other beers on the pumps. We are going back for another meal soon.
Very friendly staff, good food. Wouldn't recommend the house white wine, but they had plenty to choose from! Nice place inside and upmarket pub menu.

What a great pub. The garden is fantastic. Dont miss it. The pub itself is grand and charming at the same time. The water wheel is still running right under the pub. Excellent food and drink. This pub was a great discovery. Im glad that I stumbled upon it.
As we arrived to the restaurant there was no where to park, one guest had said to us they had given up waiting as the place was extremely busy. We had booked a table which was not set up and it took 20 minutes untill drinks were given. As we sat in the restaurant we also heard a number of complaints. One being the toilets being a mess. The food didn't take long and was of hight quality. But as I was eating mine I found a food label in the food which was then set back. The company was then nice enough to refund the meal.

Cracking little pub Got there quite late Friday for the Goodwood Festival of speed the next day. Staff were very friendly and sorted us with two delicious pizzas even though the restaurant was closed. Rooms are on the small side (part of the charm) but very cozy and all mod cons. Continental in the rooms with fresh pastries was a pleasant surprise at the price we paid for the rooms. The only small niggle was the entrance to rooms was around the back of the pub up a metal staircase which felt a bit like going in through the fire escape and might be a little slippy/dark in the winter months would thoroughly recommend it to anybody for a quick stop over
i have been reading the review on here from a year ago and i think he must have been in a different place to me. I work all over the country and this is one of the best places iv'e stayed. the rooms are immaculate the staff very pleasant and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a country pub staff and locals all up for a bit conversation.if i had one complaint it would be no tv in the bar (had to watch the rugby final in me room lol). they have 3 larger's and a couple of beers on tap although a little expensive at around £3.50 a pint not overly for the area.the food is fantastic i recommend the pizza (probably the best iv'e ever had) although a little expensive again but with food as with everything you get what you pay for . i recommend this place to everyone weather coming out for a nice meal and good company or for a place to stay its perfect.

Newlands Farm B&B was a great experience - it is not easy to find as is out in the country and down a long concrete track but call the phone number and get the directions and you be OK. You will love it if you like the authentic farm-home type of B&B.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
