A quaint place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food at the restaurant is very good. The fish and chips are the best in the town. Walking distance from the train station which is very convenient.
I've stayed here a few times with work. Every time it's been not great read:pretty bad. The building looks nice enough from the outside. The car park is OK. The guy on reception is usually nice. The rooms are very tired & need updating. The rooms (I've stayed in 4 different ones) are noisy & poorly maintained. The food in the pub is poor, the breakfast is very mediocre. Ignore the good comment that resides over the 1 out of 3 score & see it as 1 out of 3, at best below average

I was a guest at a wedding hosted at this venue, beautiful grounds so if you visit make some time to have a wonder round and enjoy them.
As a wedding photographer The Elvetham is one of my favourite venues anywhere outside of London. Situated in a peaceful part of Hampshire far away from the hustle and bustle of city life The Elvetham offers a relaxed and informal location for weddings large and small. In Summer the extensive grounds offer an almost inexhaustible opportunity for creative photography while in Winter the cosy interiors make the perfect backdrop for intimate portraits of the newly-wed couple. Impressive and yet welcoming at the same time The Elvetham has proved a hit with wedding couples and their guests for many years and hopefully a lot more to come.

Local Pubs, public houses, inns, bars for the Odiham area - with telephone numbers, addresses, location maps and some reviews. Find A Proper Pub is a drinking man guide to pubs. Although not comprehensive it gives you another angle on pubs it covers.

Nice food, although perhaps a touch expensive. Excellent location with a large green area that backs onto the canal. The staff were excellent and the place didn't feel packed even though it was busy. Recommended.
Fish and chips is great! Also the Beer (do not remember the name). And the service is very nice. It is a quiet place in a small town, after fishing in the canal, you can enjoy their food and beer. Really relaxing. Great place! Recommend!

A great place with loving staff and not to mention the very gooooooood food! We were looking for a place to eat some lunch (after being on the road for about 4 hours) but unfortunately for us, most of the pubs we went to were just about to close and some even just pushed us out. It was only here at The Hogget that everyone was so cheerfully happy that no matter how hungry we were, we ended up smiling. Not only does it end there, they were also extremely understanding and did us a huge favour. They were about to close but they heard us out and served us with the best salad I've eaten ever!! If you're ever in the area, make sure you drop by and try out their Chicken and Bacon Caesar's Salad!! Yummm! I'm surely going to drop by again if we visit Hampshire again.. :)

Very large Pub/Restaurant in genuine old mill building. Nice gardens out back. Bars upstairs and down with quite short food menu. Good choice of beers on handpumps. Food was very good, not huge portions but very good quality and value for money. Nice friendly service at table and bar. I recommend this place for a quality lunch at about £20 a head.
A truly fabulous pub..... when it is not too busy. It has a vast amount of covers both inside and out which their kitchen cannot cope with when they are busy. If you are hungry and the car park is nearly full I suggest you eat elsewhere to avoid disappointment. Apart from that I cannot fault it. Good food, good service (when not busy), lovely people and a beautiful setting, what more can you ask for? Highly recommended.

Newlands Farm B&B was a great experience - it is not easy to find as is out in the country and down a long concrete track but call the phone number and get the directions and you be OK. You will love it if you like the authentic farm-home type of B&B.

I am a weekly user of the Tinkers Furze since few years ago, and I would like to recommend the place, they have a good location in the nearby of the train station and fleet main road, but it's locate in a area without any noise. The setup of the rooms are ok with different styles suitable for every taste. A final recomendation book with enough time in advance to guarantee availability
We visited this lovely establishment this weekend. The room was lovely, the welcome was warm, the grounds were stunning and the breakfast was spot on! Set in a lovely area - we would definitely recommend. We took our young son with us and he was made to feel very welcome too.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and B provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well.

I have visited the pub on numerous occassions and always been made welcome. The food is good pub grub and the fish and chips on fridays is very good and reasonably priced.
Lovely spot with tables in the sun and slides for very young kids. Peaceful!

Good choice of food and drinks. They have upped their game considerably from a few years ago. Friendly service too. Nice nooks to sit in and eat/drink or there is more formal dining area as well as spacious outdoor benches. Not much for kids.
